Grandparents Day
Grandparents day is usually held in February of each year and is sometimes incorporated with Valentines day because, "We Love our Grandparents!" It is a
day that the grandparents or a special adult in the child's life come in to the center for cookies, coffee, and a gift made by the grandchildren.

Mother's Day Breakfast
This is a special morning that we honor our mothers with a nice sit down breakfast with
their child before heading off to work that day.
Father's Day Breakfast
We invite the fathers in for breakfast donuts with their child on the Friday before Father's day.

4th of July Parade
This is a very special event at Wenzler Daycare. All of the children make floats, decorate bikes and wagons and make costumes to parade in the neighborhood behind the Wenzler Daycare. After the parade everyone is invited back to Irelan Park for a big cook-out. We also collect canned goods from all of the neighbors and parents to give to a local food pantry.

Wenzlerfest
This is our annual big event for food, fun and fellowship. The Wenzlerfest is held at Irelan Park which is right next door to the daycare. All of the children enrolled at the daycare along with their families and friends are invited. Wenzlerfest takes place in the Fall and it is a good opportunity meet your children's friends and their families.We have a big cook-out and everyone brings a side dish or dessert to share. There are games for the kids and the adults, so bring your lawn chairs and check out the Wenzlerfest! |

Thanksgiving Luncheon
The week of Thanksgiviing we provide a special Thanksgiving lunch to share with your Wenzler family. The children make placemats and we all have a nice thanksgiving lunch that "YOU do not have to cook!"
Santa Claus is Coming!
Every year, although he is extremely busy, Santa Claus stops by the daycare for special requests and photos. |
